THE SWITCH
From 2027, every Resurgence garment ships with RE ZRO® Flat Level 2 protectors at the shoulders and elbows, or the hips and knees. RE ZRO® was founded by former D3O managers and is used by a growing number of brands worldwide. We moved our entire collection across, in every market.

HOW IT WORKS
SOFT UNTIL IT ISN'T
RE ZRO® is a shear-thinning material. At rest and in motion it stays soft and flexible — it moves with you rather than against you. Under impact it flows, spreads the force across its surface and absorbs it. Then it returns to its original state, ready for the next time.
That is protection you forget you are wearing until the moment you need it.

WHY IT MATTERS
WHY FLAT, AND WHY LEVEL 2
Curved armour adds bulk and changes the line of a garment. Ours does not. The protectors are ultra slim and sit flat — the jacket looks like a jacket, with or without them. For a collection built not to look like motorcycle gear, that is not a detail. It is the point.
And they are Level 2, the higher of the two protection levels under the standard, fitted as standard rather than offered as an upgrade. Where we previously used Level 1 armour, you now get Level 2 at no extra cost.
MADE BETTER
FIVE REASONS WE SWITCHED
THE UPGRADE
BACK PROTECTORS
Every jacket keeps its back protector pocket, sized to take two protector formats — size M or L. We will offer our own back protectors from spring 2027. Until then, any compatible protector in those sizes will fit: RE ZRO®, D3O® Ghost or Viper, available from your motorcycle dealer.
GOOD TO KNOW
IF YOUR GARMENT HAS D3O® ARMOUR
Some garments in our current range still ship with D3O® Ghost protectors and carry D3O® labels. These are fully CE-certified and perform exactly as described on the product page. The RE ZRO® switch applies to the 2027 collection onwards.
FITTED AS STANDARD
Every garment. One standard.
